Springtime is here which means well-balanced weather of cooler breezes, rain, and sunshine. 2025 styles are looking fresh and fabulous with denim-on-denim, long dress shirts, and of course floral patterns.

Street Style

Big cities are hot spots for those who appreciate maxi aesthetic outfits. Y2K street styles have been recently taking off on platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest. Accessories like chunky belts, baggy low-rise or flared pants, rings, layered chain necklaces, grungy crop tops, and sneakers are going viral on online shops such as Shein. What better way to show off in the city than with mixed layered pieces suitable for the spring season?

Y2K is a fun expressive way to show off unique wardrobe staples and is a common style for any or all genders—with that in mind, fashion has no boundaries.

Sun Dresses

A common style popular with girls/women are sundresses, so might as well start the season in a feminine outfit. Notably, longer maxi dresses have been increasingly popular in stores such as Anthropology and House of CB.

Corseted bodices, bows, neckline laces, and various floral prints are especially favoured during this time of year. It’s a common theme that never seems to fully go out of style given how flattering and elegant it is.

Solid colours of neutrals and pastels are also quite trendy for the preferred simple but chic look—sometimes simplicity is unmatched.

Classic

The simple old-money style screams spring with oversized blazers, striped blouses, and tennis skirts. This is such a timeless vibe that radiates a sophisticated aura. This is the “it couple” aesthetic that is often seen all over Instagram in romantic photoshoots.

From suits to sweaters, there are so many ways to style each item. Dress shirts tucked into leather belts, or layered over a lighter top, have been trending. Knit shrugs and jeans finished off with heels are another great way to dress for the sunnier days.
