With summer 2025 rapidly approaching, it’s time to start getting excited about all the activities that will be taking place in the city. This is the time of year to have some fun and make memories with your friends. Be sure to watch for tickets in online postings to start locking in those plans.
Concerts
During June 20-29, Toronto’s Jazz Festival will take place at Massey Hall to provide a jazzy-blues environment, where different musicians will play their tunes; jazz lounge lovers will absolutely adore this event.
On July 7, Coldplay will be at the Rogers Stadium and Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, and Allan Walker will be here Aug 19. Spotify is a helpful platform to keep an eye out for more concert dates coming up.
Many iconic pop stars come to Toronto for their concerts, and this summer will have quite a few popular singers that will be ready to rock out the city. Katy Perry will be performing at the Scotiabank Arena on August 5 and 6, while Tate McRae will sing her heart out on August 19.
Food
Toronto’s Food Truck Festival will be held at Woodbine Park on August 2 and 3 for a yummy street food experience. There will be an assortment of different kinds of cuisine available to select from and enjoy throughout the park site.
Exhibits
For all the spooky divas out there, there will be a haunted walking tour starting on July 1. Learn creepy historical facts on the city’s past, while taking an evening walk through the University of Toronto campus. Be mindful that while photos are allowed and encouraged to be taken, audio and video recordings won’t be permitted.
There will be a car show taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on July 12, showing off customized and flashy cars. Think car meets but make it bougier, with rows upon rows of varied models and trends. It’s also a fun way to support a Canadian show, and Importfest happens to be a huge deal within the community.
From August 15 to September 1, the Canadian National Exhibition will be hosted at the Exhibition Place, bringing a full-swing carnival to Torontonians. This is a fantastic outdoor activity to attend with family and friends—just remember to wear sunscreen. If rides, lots of walking, finger food, and live music sound appealing to you, this event is your chance to experience it this summer.
Fashion
Fashion Art Toronto will be here for another phenomenal show from May 29 to June 1. This is a significant event in the Canadian fashion landscape and showcases innovative fashion designs that give art a whole new meaning. Bringing self-expression to life through the art of design, the styled looks will be nothing short of spectacular on the catwalk.
